MOST PARENTS NEVER EXPECT SCREENS TO FEEL THIS HARD
Why Screen Struggles Feel So Big Today
Screens can start to take over your home before you even realize it.
One minute, technology feels helpful.
The next, it feels like a constant battle.
Your child melts down when it is time to turn it off.
They beg, argue, and negotiate for more.
They sneak devices.
They seem overly attached.
They push back hard when you set limits.
They ask for a phone before you feel ready.
Or maybe they already have one, and now it feels like it is consuming them.
And suddenly, you are second-guessing everything.
You are not failing.
Your child is not bad.
The truth is, screens are designed to pull kids in, and children do not yet have the brain development to manage that pull on their own.
That is what makes this so hard.
Most of us were never taught how to parent in a world of iPads, gaming, YouTube, smartphones, and constant digital access. So when screen struggles start affecting behavior, connection, and peace at home, it can feel exhausting, confusing, and deeply personal.
That is exactly why this course exists.
SCREEN STRUGGLES DO NOT MEAN YOU HAVE FAILED
What if screen time did not have to feel like a constant battle?
When screens start causing meltdowns, begging, sneaking, pushback, or growing stress around phones, it can feel like technology is taking over your home.
It is exhausting.
It is confusing.
It feels personal.
But this is not because you are failing.
And it is not because your child is bad.
Screens are powerful.
Children are still learning how to manage them well.
And honestly, many adults struggle too.
These devices are built to keep us hooked.
So of course children need help learning how to handle them wisely.
They need more than rules.
They need guidance, support, and clear boundaries.
With the right tools, what feels chaotic can become calmer, more intentional, and easier to manage.
Screens do not have to run your home.
You can learn to guide them well.
That is what Screen Smart is here to help you do.

A personal note from Dr. Hanaa
Why I Created Nurturing Faith
I believe children deserve to experience faith as something beautiful.
To know that Allah is Merciful. Allah is Near. Allah listens to them.
They deserve to feel safe asking questions.
And safe returning to Allah, even after mistakes.
This course brings together child development, parenting psychology, and teachings from the Qur'an and Sunnah.
So you can nurture faith in a way that reflects the mercy, wisdom, and gentleness of our deen.
Not through fear or pressure. Through connection and love for Allah.
When your child grows up, what will matter most is the relationship they have built with Allah.
That relationship is built now. In your home. In your conversations. In how faith is experienced.
Meet Dr. Hanaa Ghannoum
PhD | Early Childhood Educator | Parenting Coach | Founder of Peace Within Home
I'm a parenting coach, early childhood educator, and mother who deeply cares about helping children grow up with a loving relationship with Allah. My work blends faith, child development, and compassionate parenting to support Muslim families in building homes where faith feels safe, meaningful, and connected.
When I became a parent, I knew I wanted my children to experience faith differently. Not through fear or pressure, but through connection, mercy, and love for Allah.
As I studied child development and Islamic teachings more deeply, something became clear: The Prophet ﷺ nurtured faith through gentleness, wisdom, and compassion. That understanding became the foundation of everything I teach — and the heart of this course.
Over the years, I've supported thousands of parents who genuinely want to nurture faith in their homes, but feel unsure how to do it in a way that supports both their child's emotional development and their faith.
Real Life Stories
A different kind of faith course
Why This Approach Works
Most faith teaching focuses on behavior and rules.
This course focuses on the heart behind the behavior.
Understand
Help your child understand their faith, not just follow rules, but know the why behind every practice.
Feel
Help them feel close to Allah, not just obey, but experience His mercy, nearness, and love in their daily life.
Connect
Help them connect with the deen, not perform it. So faith becomes something your child experiences... not just does.
